The Athlete Agenda - With April Zilg

Season 5 kicks off with in-form US racer, April Zilg. April has competed at the highest level for a number of years, winning some of the world's biggest races and became APP world vice champion in 2019

This season, April has won the 2022 Carolina Cup and the first APP event of the season in Santa Monica, winning clean sweeps across technical and distance!

In this episode we discuss her sporting and coaching background, before getting to how her scientific approach has changed her agenda as an athlete, and has led to her step-up in form.

April's new book, The Athlete Agenda coaches you to assemble your individual and personalised approach to achieving success, whatever your event and your aspirations.

April also offers her coaching services, check out her website here:

The Big Book of Endurance Training and Racing by Phillip Maffetone is one of the important approaches that April has taken from to shape her coaching and training.
